How we make money
Plainly, so you can weigh it. Affiliate links help fund the site; they never decide what we recommend.

YardBuff is free to read. Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links carry rel="nofollow sponsored noopener" and the tracking tag is visible in the URL, so you always know when a link is one.
The important part: which machine we recommend for your yard is decided on the merits, never on what pays us. We point you to the type and tier that fits, and we'll tell you to buy the cheaper option or rent instead of buying when that's the honest answer, even though neither earns us anything.
Amazon Associates
As an Amazon Associate, YardBuff earns from qualifying purchases.
YardBuff participates in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program that lets sites earn fees by linking to Amazon. When we name a product tier, the link goes to a relevant category or product on Amazon under our tracking tag.
What we don't do
- We don't take payment to feature, rank, or review a specific product.
- We don't run display ads that profile you or build ad audiences.
- We don't let an affiliate relationship change a price we report or a recommendation we make.
